Services · Reno, Nevada

The services we provide, and how each one is used.

Care starts with your health history and a neurological exam. Dr. Gates then chooses tests based on your needs. If you continue with care, the plan follows what the exam and tests find.

Who provides these services, and who they are for.

Dr. Randall Gates, D.C., DACNB, directs each service on this page. He is a Doctor of Chiropractic and a board-certified chiropractic neurologist who practices functional neurology in Reno.

The practice focuses on complex, chronic neurological conditions. Dr. Gates also works with a range of autoimmune concerns. Call the office to ask whether your needs fit the practice.

The case workup comes before the care plan.

If you choose to continue after the free consultation, Dr. Gates uses a detailed workup to decide what care to recommend. He chooses the parts that fit your case.

  • Full neurological examination.
  • VNG eye-movement testing.
  • Memory and thinking tests, also called cognitive testing.
  • POTS evaluation or a bedside tilt-table evaluation.
  • Orders for lab work or imaging.
  • Brain-based or other exercises.

Care services: rehabilitation, nutrition, and a plan built for you.

Dr. Gates builds each care plan from the evaluation findings. Plans may include brain-based exercises, nutrition, and daily habit changes.

Dr. Gates does not prescribe medication. Care at GBH works alongside your medical care. The clinician who prescribes your medicine makes any changes to it.

The treatment page explains the free consultation, case workup, program length, visit frequency, and care plan.

How to start: a phone call, then a free consultation.

Call (775) 507-2000 from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The initial consultation is free and may take place in person or by phone.

Dr. Gates and his staff review your health history, answer questions, and explain what may come next. The consultation is separate from the full case workup and does not include an examination, diagnosis, or care plan.
